Mindfulness for Women
I facilitate monthly groups for women providing an opportunity to join other women in exploring the complexity of our lives.
These groups focus on looking closely at women's lives in the areas of family, community, career/intellectual stimulation and health. Group participants identify core priorities in these areas and set goals to make changes that more closely align with what they really want in their lives. Participants examine how cultural and societal messages impact women and identify obstacles to change.
Groups also focus on understanding how negative stress impacts our brains and identifying ways to lead more balanced lives. Groups include information about the neuroscience of stress and how our negative thought patterns impact our well being. Participants learn how to use yoga, meditation, breathwork and nutrition to reduce stress and improve overall health.
